Musician Biographies
Finding their roots in Hong Kong, the Chan-Lui duo have been active players in the vibrant UK performing arts scene.
Pianist Kwanyee Chan and Cellist William Lui have performed in notable UK venues such as the Bechstein Hall, St James Piccadilly, St Mary’s Perivale, St Stephen’s College Chapel Cambridge, and Wigmore Hall. The Duo has also performed internationally in Europe and Asia, in places such as Hong Kong, Tokyo, Brussels, Milan, Venice. The Duo gains valuable insight from world class professors such as Caroline Palmer, Sam Armstrong, Ralf Gothóni and Louise Hopkins.
The Duo is generously supported by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust, and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Chichester Cathedral's Lunchtime Concert series is self-supporting, and thrives through the generosity of its audiences. While there is no charge for admission, we suggest a minimum donation of £7 per person, with Gift Aid applied if possible. Donations can be made in the retiring collection, in the Cathedral, at our Visitor’s Desk or at various donation points, using cash, card and contactless or using the button below.
